When is Malta's best season? Is it hot all year round?

This is a question that people who are considering traveling to Malta often ask me.

All times are best for me😍

Malta is warm but not hot all year long.
It has a Mediterranean climate. The sun is strong and dry in summer. And it is warm with a certain amount of rainfall in winter.

The summer season is from April to October.
The summer season is recommended if you want to enjoy the sea and beaches at the resort island.

If you want to enjoy walking around the city, winter is better than the summer.

In addition to the above, my Maltese friends said that April to May would be good.

Unfortunately I have never been to Malta from March to May 😢
I was planning a trip to Malta from April to May of this year, but I couldn't because of Covid-19.

Why I recommend late September to early October
① Just right to enter the sea (the temperature will calm down)
②Although the sun is a little strong, you can walk around the city
③ Long daytime
④ There are many events
⑤ flights and accommodation are cheaper than from July to August

The heat is severe from July to August.
I went to Malta in July 2019. In Europe (especially France) there was a record Heat Wave, and Malta was over 40 degrees Celsius. Then, a warning was issued every day, saying, "Don't go out during the day," "Hydrate well," "When you are outside, in the shadow."
I didn't feel like going out of my room during the day to go to the sea or walk around the city.

f:id:Maltalover:20200705191717j:plainThere is a lot of rain from November to early December.
I was studying abroad in Malta from November to December 2019, but the weather was subtle every day.
The school teachers also said, "The weather is not good at this time."
There were days when I could wear a T-shirt, days when I wore a down jacket, and there were days when the rain. My friend's umbrella was broken for strong wind and strong rain.

However it's just a good season to study!
